Plum Intended

This cocktail is plum forward and the sweet but sophisticated stone fruit dances with the bright citrus notes to delight your taste buds. This one is easy to drink and a perfect compliment to great company on a summer evening.

I’m finding more and more that I crave time with smart, dynamic women. There’s something about unconditional love and a safe place to unapologetically be myself. I love the women in my life and I’m so grateful that, despite the ongoing pandemic, “girls night” is back. 

We painted our nails while sipping this delicious concoction. Plum Intended… because I’m a sucker for puns. @fridaclements is my favorite!

Ingredients (makes 1 cocktail)

• 1.5oz vodka (Reyka Plain Vodka)

• .25oz lemon juice (Santa Cruz Organic @santacruzorganic 100% Pure Lemon Juice)

• .25oz Aperol

• .5oz plum simple syrup

• 1 lemon (for garnish)

• 1 plum

• Ice

Instructions

• Make a plum simple syrup

• Add ice, vodka, Aperol, lemon juice, and simple syrup to shaker

• Shake vigorously

• Poor into a fancy cup

• Garnish: slice of lemon, wedge of plum
